So, you're ready to make the commitment and subscribe to one of Apify's paid plans. If you're not sure how to sign up for the plan you need, we've got you covered.
This article covers our three most common use cases:
Subscribing to any plan and paying for overage (using more resources than included in the plan).
Subscribing to a Team plan and converting the account into an organization.
Extending functionalities by adding proxies and other add-ons.
Subscribing, overage, and which plan to choose
Subscribing and paying for overage work the same on all our plans. The subscription process is described in the next section. You are automatically charged for overage at the same rate as your plan.
So, if you normally need $49 to $499 worth of resources, you can just subscribe to the Personal plan and use the resources you need.
If you plan to regularly use over $500 of platform resources, you will be better off with the Team plan, which includes more default memory and proxies, as well as team seats.
If none of the above plans work for you, please get in touch with our support team via email or using the chat icon in the bottom-right corner to discuss a custom plan.
How to subscribe
Navigate to the Subscription tab of the Billing and usage section in Apify Console and click on the Upgrade button.
Then, pick the plan that best suits your needs and click Next in the bottom-right corner. As mentioned above, unless you regularly plan to use over $500 of resources or want to use organization accounts, you will be just fine with the Personal plan.
Next, in the Add-ons section, you can choose to add extra proxies and memory (horsepower), as well as enterprise-level support and extra team seats (the latter two on the Business plan.
After this, all you need to do is fill in your billing information, and you're good to go!
Subscribe to the Team plan and convert your account into an organization
Signing up for a Team plan is the same as described above. Just navigate to the Subscription tab in Apify Console, click Upgrade, select the Team plan, and fill in your details.
To convert your account into an organization, follow our tutorials: we have a text tutorial with screenshots and a video tutorial available.
Subscribe to a plan and add proxies and other add-ons
If you need additional proxies, go through the subscription process as described above and add the extra proxies in the Add-ons section. However, only shared datacenter proxies can be added this way. If you would like to use dedicated datacenter proxies or residential proxies, get in touch with our support team via email or using the chat icon in the bottom-right corner.
